Tripass 紐約 on Google Maps

NYC never ends suprising me. I remembered only after six months passing by it everyday did I realize the apartment they shot TV series Friends is right on my way to work everyday. Just read this article 紐約／Café Haban 香濃乳酪烤玉米 and realized the place is just a couple blocks away from where I work. How can you not like New York?

I made a map from the tourist spots listed on the same website: Tripass 紐約. Tripass is a funny name btw.

MacBook Pro 終於要來了

10/14 下禮拜二，衝！

修好了

感謝大家，手術進行順利，星期三已開始請假閉關修養，鼻子大多處於阻塞不通狀態外，目前除睡覺不能躺平、笑的時候鼻子會痛外，一切還好。

結果要開刀

今天去看醫生，醫生一看X光片就說Definitely broken 兩個選擇：1什麼都不作，鼻子以後會歪掉。2開刀。當然選2。所以星期三要去開刀了...

鼻子斷了

下午去打擊練習場，租了一個cage三個人輪流打，快要走的時候，興致勃勃拿球丟給Lan打，玩得正高興，沒想到一個球迎面襲來，當場鼻血就噴出來，感謝弘皓和君皖和Lan帶我去醫院掛急診，Ying也趕來急診室，照了X光後發現鼻子斷了，星期一還得跟專門的醫生約診去把它修好... 好險球打到我前有先彈到地上一次，不然應該會更嚴重，也還好沒有打到眼睛或其他地方，算很幸運的了。

How to add a new spot?
step1: Save it to "My Maps"
You will need a google account and sign in first.
Click on "Save to My Maps" near the upper right corner of the left column.


Step2: Search for the restaurant on the Internet
Search the restaurant on the internet. Find it and click on it.
If you cannot find it, go to Step6.


Step3: Save the restaurant to a certain map
In the description bubble of the restaurant, click on "Save to My Maps".
You will see a pull-down menu. Select "Atlanta 美食地圖", then click "Save".


Step4: View it and edit it
Check the check box next to "Atlanta 美食地圖" in the "Created by others" section.
Click the "Edit" button to enter the editing mode.


Step5: Edit related info of a restaurant
Click on the name of a newly added restaurant (or an existing one)
A bubble comes up. Change the fields to edit it. Note that, by clicking on the box to the upper right of the bubble, you can change the icon. By clicking "delete" at the lower left, you can delete the restaurant. Also usually, the location of the spot is not precise, drag and drop the icon to fine-tune it.


Step6: Add a new spot from scratch
If you can't find a certain restaurant by searching, you'll need to add it manually.
Click on the drop shape icon (the second from left) to add a new spot.

第一次從博客來訂書

好久沒有很痛快的看中文書了，每次到China Town的世界書局，看到那幾本舊舊髒髒書，選擇又少又貴到令人咋舌，買書看書的好興致就少了大半。這回從博客來一口氣訂了十多本書，應該可以擋一陣子了。雖然還是很貴，但真的很快，等所有的書到到貨就寄出，然後UPS「隔天」就送到了，真的是隔天哩！貴死人不償命的運費果然有它的道理。拿到書後，馬上這本也翻一翻、那本也翻一翻，感覺就像一夕暴富的窮人興奮得把鈔票拋上天。爽！要不是明天要上班，真想通宵達旦的看書呀。

The Science of Sleep (戀愛夢遊中)

I saw this movie on DVD today. It was awesome; I liked it very much. The director Michel Gondry was the same director as "Eternal sunshine on a spotless mind". I like the magical world and the romantic affairs happened between two creative young minds illustrated in the movie.

The Jaw-dropping Bill

The bills of going to the ER two weeks ago came, two bills total $2000. This is too much if one did not have insurance. The quality of hospital is great, but still a jaw-dropping moment for me when first seeing the bill.

Bought a sofa finally.

Letting the apartment be empty for more almost an year, we finally decided to buy a couch. We went to the furniture stores near exit99 and literally went into all of them. We decide to buy a $350 sofa bed, which will be delivered on Wednesday. Good~

Finally got my Devil's picturebook

After more than 40 days since I ordered it, my 'Devil's picture book' finally arrived. Together with 'Absoluted Magic' and 'Pure effect' that are already in my library, it made my collection of Derren Brown's work complete. I am looking forward to see it. I went to play basketball this evening with the TSA guys after a long time without doing any physical exercise. When I got home, I was exhaustedly tired...
